談情說(shuō)愛(ài)專用語(yǔ)

　　美國(guó)人盡管喊了多少年的“性開(kāi)放”，但很多美國(guó)人在談情說(shuō)愛(ài)方面，仍然喜歡采用一些含蓄保守的詞句或語(yǔ)句，表現(xiàn)文明和禮貌。下面這些表達(dá)都是表示男女間互相傾慕，兩情相悅，有吸引力或一見(jiàn)鐘情。

　　1. to have a crush on (someone)

　　例如：He (she) has a crush on her (him) (他對(duì)她十分愛(ài)慕) 。

　　2. to feel an instant magnetism

　　例如：He felt an instant magnetism when their eyes met. (他們見(jiàn)面時(shí)，他立即感到被她磁性般的吸住)。

　　這個(gè)to feel an instant magnetism是指“被外表吸引”，一見(jiàn)鐘情都是這種了。

　　3. to catch one’s eyes

　　例如：A nice-looking girl caught his eye.(一個(gè)漂亮妞兒吸引住了他的目光)。

　　注意：不用 eyes。

　　4. to hit it off

　　例如：He was introduced to a pretty woman and they seem to hit it off immediately.(有人介紹了一位漂亮女子給他，他們似乎就一見(jiàn)鐘情)。

　　5. to have the hots for (someone)

　　例如：When he met her, he had the hots for her.(當(dāng)他見(jiàn)到她，他就對(duì)她愛(ài)慕不已。)(多半指 sexual attraction。)

　　6. to be attracted to each other.

　　例如：They were attracted to each other the moment their eyes met.

　　如果說(shuō)“女對(duì)男的沒(méi)有興趣”，可以說(shuō)：

　　She did not feel any attraction toward him.(她對(duì)他毫無(wú)興趣); 或

　　He is the man for whom she feels no attraction, catch or no catch.(不管他的條件好或壞，她對(duì)他就是沒(méi)有興趣)。

　　這里的 catch，可指財(cái)富、地位、名望和外表。
